Lake Tahoe - Squaw Valley

The drive out of the valley, across the state, and through the mountain pass was about 3 hours, but well worth it.  The snow was soft, the weather was warm-- short sleeve t-shirt spring skiing-- and the view was spectacular.

 

For some reason, I thought this tree was photogenic.

After a tough day on the slopes, it was time to get back to "work".  We drove west, back to wine country, this time Napa Valley...
